Hey everyone, I know it's been a little while now since the initial Kickstarter Campaign and I wanted to take a moment to update you on the progress we've made. The album that you donated to support is finished - mixed, mastered and off to print at a state of the art pressing plant called Blue Sprocket in Harrisonburg, VA. The CD's just arrived last week and they look beautiful! We celebrated here locally in RVA by having a little party at a local art gallery called Black Iris. We should receive the first test pressing of vinyl in the next couple weeks and have the finished product by the end of March or early April. I will be sending CD's out in the mail over the next few weeks and for those of you that claimed a reward for both CD and Vinyl, I will wait until the records arrive to mail both out at once. The next order of operations is merchandise such as t-shirts, stickers and buttons, which we are diligently working on the designs for now! Thank you again for your contribution to this project, your continued support, and patience in awaiting the final product. It takes time to do things right, and I am cutting no corners with the production of this album. I think you will all be very pleased with the final outcome! In the meantime, you can listen to the latest single, "Cancel Out The Noise", which is out now on all streaming platforms.
Tipping’ my hat to 2020. It’s a fond fair well. This has been a challenging year for me, as it has for everyone, but it has also been a year of growth, resilience and change. Through the pandemic I have continued to work, to write and play music. The Saboteurs and I have continued to rehearse through this whole mess at Another Round Bar & Grill and that has been a lifeline for me. We are blessed to have people who supported us through it all and gave us a space to create! I picked up gigs wherever and whenever I could. We finished our record with Mitch Clem at Go West which is coming out very soon. I demoed nearly 50 songs with Mitch and have enough tunes and have started planning for the next two albums. I completed a writing internship at RVA Mag which got me through the summer, and for that I am so grateful! Most importantly, I found recovery again and am focusing on my mental health and sobriety. So it has also been a year of accomplishment and positivity. With that said, let’s move onto something better. Let us heal and move forward, onward and upward. I gently and warmly welcome 2021
Happy Holidays folks! I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Holiday, etc. - whatever you celebrated, I hope it was happy, warm and filled with lots of love, laughter, friends and family.
As always, we are working hard over here to create new content for you to enjoy from home - since our opportunities to perform out are very limited these days. Personally, I got in the Christmas spirit this year through learning a whole slew of Christmas songs, which is something I've never really done before. I did a few solo/acoustic livestreams and as you can see above, I released a new, 3 song EP called Coming Home For Christmas. You can find that album on all the streaming platforms and give it a listen today!
In addition, the band and I performed a full band live Holiday Special and made a video of the whole thing. It's a full production with multiple camera angles, audio from the soundboard, etc. - I think you will enjoy it! You can watch that on YouTube or Facebook now.
Thanks for following and sticking with me through this tough year. I am wishing you all the best in 2021 and hope to see you live, in-person at a real show sometime soon! Happy New Year and much love to you all.
